The art of photography offers a window for each of us to see ourselves and our loved ones, and to know that we are a part of something very special. When I look at images of my family in my home or in theirs, I feel joy and a true sense of belonging. I believe that hanging a portrait of a loved one in your home sends the message “you are loved.”  I want everyone to have beautiful pictures that bring them joy, belonging and the feeling of being loved.

I have been a photographer in the GTA for 15 years. I currently live in Leslieville where I share my home with two beautiful Siamese cats. In addition to renting a few beautiful studio spaces in Toronto, I often photograph on location—in parks, in backyards or at cottages. It’s nice to have options as many people from across the province (and beyond) come see me every year to capture memories and then some that come every few years for the extended family sessions that feature many generations. I also have commercial clients and it is an honour to be able to help promote businesses and schools in the province. I am thankful daily for the continued friendships that have been cultivated in my business. 

My formal education—arts degree from Western—was completed in 1998 with a focus on French literature. During my studies, I spent one year in the south of France; this time influenced my love of photography greatly. The perfect weather and unbelievable scenery inspired me and I haven’t slowed down since. My education continues as I attend yearly seminars and workshops that help to keep me excited and up to date with what is happening in the industry. This helps me provide you with outstanding retouching and editing for your final images.
